My Story
How It All Started…
Hey y’all! I’m Tia — the voice behind Grow With Tia.
I started this blog because life’s too short not to share the real, raw, and beautiful journey we’re all on. I’ve had my share of ups, downs, lessons, and blessings — and I wanted a place where I could inspire others to keep going, keep growing, and keep believing in what’s possible. Grow With Tia is my heart in blog form.
Who am I Here For…
Grow With Tia is for the women who are doing their best to juggle life; the dreamers, the doers, the mamas, the military wives, the believers.

My Military Life…
I’ve been rocking the uniform for 20 years now! The Army has blessed me with so much: stability, lessons, strength, and some of the most amazing people you could ever meet.
Every place I’ve been stationed, God has placed somebody special in my path. I’m getting ready to retire soon, and even though it’s bittersweet, I’m grateful for everything this journey has given me.
Family Over Everything
Family is my whole world.
I’m married to my best friend and biggest supporter, and together we have six amazing kids, including two wonderful stepsons who have been a special part of our journey.
My oldest son, who has autism, still lives at home with us, and my oldest daughter is crushing it in college. I also have my two younger ones at home — my daughter (eighth grade superstar) and my son (fifth grader, autism warrior, and ADHD champion).
Life can get crazy sometimes, but every moment is a blessing I don’t take for granted. I’m grateful beyond words for the family God has entrusted me to love and care for.
The Struggles That Built Me…
Life hasn’t always been easy.
Between deployments, raising a family, chasing dreams, and dealing with life’s curveballs, there were plenty of moments I wanted to quit. But those struggles made me stronger, wiser, and more determined to build the life God placed in my heart.
I believe growth comes through the hard seasons, and if I can grow, girl, so can you.
